OUTLINE OF CHAPTER
God’s chosen people: Abraham’s exalted status does not confer same status for his descendants (both Jews and Arabs); failure to proselytize monotheism; spiritual arrogance; self-righteousness and false pride among believers; ascribing divine qualities to human beings: only God can prescribe moral law. Greed for material world: Taking usury and devouring of other people’s possessions (Evils perpetrated by religious leaders); breaking Sabbath for worldly gains; lust for wealth by religious figures. Afterlife: denial of afterlife; no exemption from punishment in hereafter; paradise is not only reserved for Jews; salvation not reserved for Jews and Christians only. Rejecting God’s message and his prophets: slaying and rebellion against prophets; stubborn rebelliousness; rejection of prophets who did not conform to law of the Torah. Rejecting Muhammad: Distorting the Quran taking it message out of context; disregarding prophesies regarding Muhammad in Torah; rejection of prophets; demand for direct revelation; mockers and hypocrites; arrogance (God is poor while we are rich); hostility; demand for miracles; challenge to hasten God’s chastisement; practice of deception to confuse Muslims. Corrupting bible and rejecting the Quran: Suppression of Biblical truth; denying authenticity of the Quran; paying lip service to Biblical truths; selective following of the Bible and declaring Quran as false; surrender yourselves wholly unto God; Torah for Jews only; abrogation of the biblical dispensation and supersession by the Quran; judge non-muslim fairly; prohibition of moral alliance.
